About me

I am Maame Joses – singer, actor, motherlover.

My story began in silence.
In systems that didn’t see me.
In roles I never chose.

I was abused. Bullied. Suicidal. Starved for love. Blinded by trauma.

But I survived. And then I learned I deserve love because I simply am love.

Today I work with Black women who feel invisible and stuck…
…despite all the love they give. Usually mothers,

I reflect back what the world neglects to give us:
space to breathe, peace, recognition.

You don’t have to become anything to deserve peace.
You only have to return to who you always were.

Black motherhood is powerful. But it’s also layered, exhausting, and far too often—silenced.

That’s why I created The Motherloving Method: a therapeutic self-reflection tool where Black moms can safely voice their frustrations, unpack emotional blindspots, and begin healing without judgment.

Whether you’re navigating burnout, emotional overwhelm, or just craving a space where you feel seen—this method was made with you in mind.
